activities, artists, and programs enriching the quality
of life of all Island residents, including K-12 students,
seasonal workers, and guests visiting the Island.

The
Mackinac Seven Art Group is comprised of a group of
"painting friends" with deep ties to Mackinac:
Catherine Brockman, Maeve Croghan, Pam Finkel, Nicki
Griffith, Kitty Hannabass, Marlee Brown, Marta Olson,
and Pat Pulte. Each member is either a year-round or
long-time summer resident of Mackinac Island. The group
began exhibiting together in 1994 and are currently
holding three shows annually: a spring show at the Murray
Hotel in June and August and December shows at the Mackinac
Island Public Library. They have painted and exhibited
together for over a decade. |

QUARTERS is a conglomerate of four business structures:
a club (anyone can join for discounts), a consignment
shop (juried artists “rent” display space),
a cooperative (consignors can work) and a consortium
(pooling talents and equipment). QUARTERS is designed
to return all profits to the consignors. We envision
affiliate “kiosks” across the country linked
through a web site. Truly as much CONCEPT as GALLERY,
