Area Arts Council |
This
arts council is the largest sponsor of the entertainment
arts in Northern Michigan. It is located in a beautifully
restored and acoustically perfect Victorian theatre. The
Mission of the Cheboygan
Area Arts Council is to promote and encourage cultural
and educational activities within the Straits area of
Northern Michigan and to provide services that stimulate
and encourage participation and appreciation of the arts
within all segments of the community. |
| Crooked
Tree Arts Council |
The
Crooked
Tree Arts Center was founded in 1971 to sponsor and
encourage activities in the arts for residents of Charlevoix
and Emmet counties. Crooked Tree Arts Council sponsors,
encourages, and creates opportunities for participating
in and appreciating the visual and performing arts. |

Museum Center |
The
Michael
and Barbara Dennos Museum Center stands at the entrance
of the Northwestern Michigan College campus in Traverse
City, Michigan. A regional hub for arts and culture, this
dramatic building features three rotating exhibition galleries,
a sculpture court, a "hands-on" Discovery Gallery,
a gallery of Inuit art from the museum’s permanent
collection as well as the 367-seat Milliken Auditorium,
a 32-seat video theater, a community room, and a museum
store. |
